July President’s Message

    July 6, 2022

    Hello AVHRA Members!

Happy Friday! I have quite the update for you so I promise to keep this email short and sweet, but we wanted to share some important information! Please feel free to share this email with any of your HR and Business Professional contacts. The more the merrier J.

    July President’s Message:

    Hello HR Community!

Where has 2022 gone?! I don’t know about you, but I am happy to feel like we can take some time for ourselves this year without the pressures of needing to be careful about our every move. Families are reuniting, travel has ramped up, domestic and foreign, and I find that the majority of people are genuinely feeling that breath of fresh air. As we navigate back to what we once thought was our “normal” lifestyles, the past couple of years have allowed us to stop and think about where our priorities lie and what works for us as individuals. Navigating the curve balls in life is no easy feat and they become greater learning, self-reflection, and growing opportunities for all of us. As Business Leaders and HR Professionals we had to navigate this both in our personal and work lives. No matter what capacity you assisted with COVID relief/policy planning/etc. in your organization, your knowledge and services mattered! May the remainder of your 2022 year continue to bring forth more rest and relaxation that is deserved by all.

We had a great turnout at our first membership event for 2022 at the Wenatchee Valley Brewing Co. at the end of May! We met several new AVHRA members and look forward to our next membership event. We plan to have our next membership event at the end of August/beginning of September. We would also like to start a monthly early morning/in person coffee chat as well which should provide an opportunity for people to network (coffee will be the member’s responsibility). Please watch your emails and the AVHRA website for our upcoming events.
