    If you are a senior-level HR advisor with excellent consulting and advisory skills, then this is your opportunity. The Office of Human Resources at the Department of Labor & Industries is looking for an HR professional to join our team as a Human Resource Consultant 3.


    We are innovative people strategists who support an inclusive, diverse, and productive workforce to keep Washington Safe and Working. The Office of Human Resources ensures the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries is compliant with all state and federal personnel laws and regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and policies. We provide direction and consultation to managers, supervisors and employees regarding all facets of the administration of human resources. 


    As a Human Resource Consultant 3, you will provide administrative direction and counsel to clients in most areas of HR, including position allocation, compensation, benefits, recruitment and selection, affirmative action and equal employment opportunity, reasonable accommodation, employee relations, training, organizational development, and labor relations. This position supports L&l's overall mission by providing consultation to executive and program managers on legal and efficient human resource practices to hire, retain and sustain a workforce, thereby supporting agency mission to Keep Washington Safe and Working.
