2018 AVHRA Board – Call for Volunteers and Nominations We’re calling for 2018 Board volunteers and nominations.  There are great benefits of volunteering in leadership and committee member positions:

    • Make an impact to the HR profession through board membership and continued chapter development
    • Be recognized as a leader in the human resources field
    • Improve your competencies and advance yourself professionally
    • Network with peers and colleagues in the HR profession and in our community
    • Attend all chapter meetings and workshops for FREE – this is a tremendous value to you personally and professionally; what a great selling point to your employer!
    • Earn HRCI/SHRM CP-SCP credits for leadership and/or committee positions

As a board member of AVHRA, you are expected to be an engaged member – this includes attending AVHRA events and ten (10) monthly board meetings.  Your primary role is helping the Board come to agreement in making decisions that affect our membership and fostering growth of our chapter by actively engaging with others in discussion of the benefits of AVHRA and SHRM membership.

We need your help… please join us for the 2018 chapter year!  Contact me at 888-3603 or kpage@wenatcheewa.gov<mailto:kpage@wenatcheewa.gov> if you are interested or have any questions about joining the board.

    President-Elect: OPEN

Please don’t forget to designate AVHRA as your home chapter; when you designate us as your chapter, SHRM provides financial support to assist us in being able to provide you with the programs and certification credits you want.

We look forward to seeing your at an upcoming event!
