    2017 AVHRA ELECTIONS – with a number of open board positions for 2017, we’re calling for an early election to help transition new members.  There are great benefits of volunteering in leadership and committee member positions:

    • Make an impact to the HR profession through board membership and continued chapter development
    • Be recognized as a leader in the human resources field
    • Improve your competencies and advance yourself professionally
    • Network with peers and colleagues in the HR profession and in our community

    • Earn HRCI/SHRM CP-SCP credits for leadership and/or committee positions

       

    As a board member of AVHRA, you are expected to be an active and engaged member – this includes attending monthly board meetings and helping the Board come to agreement in making decisions that affect our membership.  You are also committed to the growth of the chapter – actively engaging with others in discussion of the benefits of AVHRA and SHRM membership.
