    Human Resource Consultant 1 - Oregon State University

    The University Administrative Business Center (UABC) invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, fixed term Human Resources Consultant 1 (HRC1) position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Business Center Manager.

    The Human Resources Consultant 1 (HRC1) is responsible for performing a broad range of professional human resources management and administration responsibilities, including, but not limited to: administering and performing human resources management functions such as recruitment and selection, records and data management, unemployment insurance claims, staff fee eligibility, volunteer worker coordination, personnel policies, labor and employee relations, regulatory compliance and responding to multiple technical system user inquiries. The HRC1 is responsible for assisting administrators and supervisors in achieving goals and outcomes in the areas of diversity, affirmative action and equal opportunity, employee relations, labor relations, and management of personnel resources. The HRC1 serves as advisor to supervisors and administrators regarding state, federal, OUS and University rules, policies, collective bargaining agreements, and procedures in areas assigned. The HRC1 works independently under general guidance from the Human Resources Consultant 2 (HRC2) and Business Center Human Resources Manager (HRM).
