Cascade Medical seeking Director of Human Resources

    DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

    Cascade Medical (CM) in beautiful downtown Leavenworth, WA is replacing their current incumbent due to retirement in August.

    This is a key strategic position with responsibility for all Human Resources functions in this Critical Access Hospital.  This position is an integral member of the hospital’s leadership team.

    We are seeking candidates with day-to-day broad based technical expertise in all key functional HR areas, including policy development, talent acquisition, team building, benefits management, workers’ compensation, and HR compliance management. We are looking for candidates who are approachable and have strong relationship building skills. Ideal candidates demonstrate the ability to foster an atmosphere of respect and cooperation; and have proven track records in process improvement and staff development.

    In addition to the above, CM is seeking qualified candidates with the following specific credentials:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.
    • Minimum of five (5) years prior management experience in a Human Resource setting.
    • Unionized environment experience a plus.
    • PHR or SPHR strongly preferred.
    • Health care HR background a strong plus.
    • Well developed understanding of benefits administration.
    • Strong background in employee relations and Washington state and Federal employment law.
