Human Resources Assistant - 2 positions available
1 - Dayshift: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, M - F
1 - Swing shift: 4:00 pm - 1:00 am, M - F
The HR Assistant assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. The HR Assistant carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: Departmental Development, Employee Relations, Training and Development, Organization Development, and Employment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Recruiting and Staffing Logistics;
- Performance Management;
- Employee Orientation, Development, and Training Logistics and Recordkeeping;
- Assisting with Employee Relations;
- Company Employee Communication;
- Employee Services;
- Maintaining Employee Files;
- Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the HR office
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One-year experience in Human Resources preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to deal effectively with staff, job applicants and general public
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and display a professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently while performing various tasks
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
