    Human Resources Assistant - 2 positions available

    1 - Dayshift: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, M - F
    1 - Swing shift: 4:00 pm - 1:00 am, M - F

    The HR Assistant assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. The HR Assistant carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: Departmental Development, Employee Relations, Training and Development, Organization Development, and Employment.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Recruiting and Staffing Logistics;
    • Performance Management;
    • Employee Orientation, Development, and Training Logistics and Recordkeeping;
    • Assisting with Employee Relations;
    • Company Employee Communication;
    • Employee Services;
    • Maintaining Employee Files;
    • Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the HR office

    Requirements:

    • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • One-year experience in Human Resources preferred
    • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
    • Ability to work as a team member
    • Ability to deal effectively with staff, job applicants and general public
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and display a professional demeanor
    • Ability to work independently while performing various tasks
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
