    DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION PANEL

Presenters: Kimberlee Davis, Denise Altheimer, Tim Mulligan, and Amanda Gayles

    RESTIGER NOW!

As businesses reopen and employees return to conventional work settings, there is something considerably different happening at offices across the country. Beyond social distancing and wearing protective face coverings, a cultural shift is afoot. Employees have spent the last two months witnessing the most substantial racial and social unrest since the 1960's Civil Rights Movement. The recent deaths of George Floyd, Ahumaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and others have sparked a national outcry for comprehensive transformation. This outcry is not only focused on our plitical and social systems, but it also focuses on the companies where employees work and the companies that market thier products and services. Individuals are looking for their employers to denounce racism and take a public stand against injustice. More than ever before, employees are exploring ways to engage in uncomfortable conversations as a way to shift their organizational cultures and create a more equitable environment for one another.

Join us for a 75-minute SHRM webinar co-hosted with the WA State SHRM as a distinguished panel of experts talk about the importance of diversity, equity, equality and inclusion for imporved business performance, organizational engagement, empoloyee well-being and overall employee retention. The panel will share practical tips and tools for helping HR professionals foster a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
