The Apple Valley Human Resource Association invites business owners, business managers, and HR professionals to join us as we learn about generational differences and how these differences can affect supervising employees.

Generational Differences: What You Need to Know As a Supervisor
Do Gen Xers act differently than Gen Yers?
Do they have different expectations and work ethics?
Learn how you can adjust your supervision based on the generational makeup of your employees.

With four or five generations working side-by-side in today’s workplace, it is no wonder supervisors need help in new ways to manage.  Jenna Hyatt, CWU’s Director of Residence Life and New Student Programs, knows what she’s talking about in terms of generational differences.  Most of her work at CWU is focused on the First Year Experience (FYE) and transition of students coupled with retention strategies and university strategic priorities related to student trends.  Jenna will get us thinking about our own learning and working styles and expectations in comparison to those of others.

    7:30am - Continental Breakfast
    8am to 11:00am - Presentation
