Happy 2015 from AVHRA's Newly Elected Co-Presidents

    January 8, 2015

Happy 2015! As your newly-elected Chapter Co-Presidents, we are excited to work with each of you to support our mission to serve and advance the HR profession. It’s our desire to inspire, educate and connect you through AVHRA programs, resources and networking opportunities.

I’m Ruth Erwert, a long-time employee of Chelan County PUD in the Recruiting Manager role. I’ve been a member of SHRM National since 2001 and earned my Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) in 2006. I am proud of that distinction and my newly acquired SHRM-SCP certification. I’ve been involved with the AVHRA family for many years and look forward to personally connecting with each of you this year.

I’m Reagan Bellamy, Executive Director of Human Resources at Wenatchee Valley College. I earned my Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 2005 and was one of the first in Washington State to earn my new SHRM-SCP certification. I was honored to accept the Pinnacle Award, on behalf of AVHRA, at the Leadership Conference in Washington D.C., and look forward to a great year as AVHRA Co-President.

Jenny Fasching, current Past President and excellent leader, has made our transition to co-President very easy. We are committed to continuing Jenny’s example of professionalism and excellence to our members and are appreciative of Jenny and our Board of Directors who continually give so much of their free time to our chapter. They are a strong group of professionals equipped with knowledge, talent and a passion for everything HR!

If we haven’t already met, we look forward to getting to know you at one of our upcoming programs, beginning with Excellence in Management - a new Michael Nash workshop on February 9.
